Creative Visualization - The Key to Reinventing Yourself. Guided Meditations - Self Hypnosis Creative Imagination Techniques
|

We think that we think in words. However, the brain actually interprets words
by reading them as images. The sub-conscious mind records images and within
the images there is an emotional interpretation and a behavioural response.
Thoughts create emotions - emotions create responses, and responses reinforce
thoughts.
Our belief system is created and maintained by this simple cycle. The repetition
of thought is how habits are formed and maintained.
The funny thing is, we all enter conflicting information and create conflicting
habits.
You may want to be healthy and happy, but you think about illness and fear.
You want to be successful and prosperous, but you think about failure and debt.
You love your partner, but you mistrust him/her.
You may want to succeed, but you dislike or resent your work.
You want to lose weight, but you think about food as a reward or treat.
Well, what do you expect from your behaviour? You're wondering why things
get so crazy.
The mind is often compared to a computer. Your computer has thousands of
instructions running in the background. You don't need to know what they are,
what they do or how they work, but you know they are essential and without
them the computer crashes.
You are probably more concerned with the programmes that hold your
important files. The files you use everyday, which are prioritised and sorted for
easy access. When too much junk and useless information backs up your
computer slows down. Ultimately it will stop running. Your computer will need
to be defragmented. Defragragmenting your computer will re-organize your
data, clear out the dead spaces and compress your data for easier access.
Ultimately, you realize that you need to delete the stuff that you don't need in
order to free up the accessibility of the important stuff.
Creative Visualization is like defragmenting your thoughts
Creative visualization is also like a computer’s virus protector. You can scan
your thoughts and weed out any potentially harmful codes. Negative thoughts
are like a mind virus. If you don't catch them and delete them as soon as they
appear, you'll begin to act erratically, and ultimately, you'll become immobilized.
When it comes to our minds, we try to run too many conflicting programmes at
the same time. We allow other people to enter data, but we rarely check to see
if it is necessary or correct. When you allow conflicting thoughts to take up
space, you will find that your valuable programmes are sabotaged by opposing
programmes.
You need to back up the important stuff and delete the junk.
Where you are today is the direct result of all the thoughts, emotions and actions
of your past.
Habits
We have habits of thinking, feeling and responding in particular ways. Our
thoughts, feelings and behaviours are predictable, because our thoughts, feelings
and behaviours are habits.
A habit is something repeated to such a degree that an automatic behaviour
results.
Your brain has a conscious analytical part; it takes in information, inspects it,
argues it and compares it. The conscious mind is designed for decision-making
and logic. But for habit creation and emotional responses you need to access
the sub-conscious. Your sub-conscious has no analytical power, it simply takes
in information and records it.
Everything you have ever learned started out as a difficult task. It is only through
repetition that a habit can be formed. The things you now do that are effortless
and automatic were once large chunks of confusing bits of instruction. You
practiced (repeated) writing the alphabet, reading, walking, talking and
everything else. All these things are now so programmed in and automatic that
you never stop to think about how to do them.
You can do things the hard way, that is, physically do something over and over,
or you can use the amazing capabilities of your sub-conscious mind to believe
that you are doing it over and over.
When you physically or consciously do things, your conscious mind may
interfere, argue, criticise and sabotage your efforts. If you by-pass this process
and go directly to the sub-conscious, you can visualize doing things and the sub-
conscious will record the information faster and more effectively, without the
conflict. Remember the sub-conscious does not analyse, it doesn't care or judge
if you can do something, it simply programmes the information.
We consciously want great things to happen. We desire health, wealth and
happiness and then imagine failure, illness, debt and insecurity.
You can reinvent yourself.

Creative visualization is a simple, deeply relaxing and pleasurable technique
used to create or re-programme habits. Creative visualization is a normal and
natural process which everyone uses everyday. It is simply a matter of using
thoughts and images to access the sub-conscious or the super-conscious
aspect of the mind.
Creative visualization has been successfully used to:
Accelerate learning, improve memory and motivation
Increase relaxation, reduce or eliminate stress
Increase psychic sensing
Send or receive telepathically
Create or change habits
Build self-esteem and self-confidence
Lose weight and improve body image
Reduce or eliminate pain
Heal and increase energy
Eliminate depression, anxiety and phobias
Increase abundance and joy
Create or improve relationships
Manifest future events
Creative visualization has been compared to prayer, meditation, positive
thinking, hypnosis, faith healing, mind-control, magnetism, and on it goes. It
does not matter what you call it – as long as it works. Many theories about
creative visualization can be found and many explanations are given.
Personally, I like things kept simple. I want to know how to do it and I want
to decide for myself how successful it is.
I don’t want a Guru or any costly or time-consuming classes, gimmicky
products or academic tutorials. My purpose is not to explain the science or
philosophy of creative visualization, but to give people an opportunity to learn
how to use it.
Your results are the only proof you need to experience its effectiveness
It is a highly pleasurable process and completely safe. You have nothing to
lose, everything to gain. At the end of the day, your success will be your
answer.
I know it works. I know that I am a happy, healthy, mentally stable person
who enjoys life, loves people and lives well. I want you to be able to say the
same about your time here on Earth.
If you can eliminate, or at least minimise, fear, worry, anger, pain or any other
harmful habit and replace it with vitality, joy, love, fun, success and self-
confidence, then call it what you want - but at least try it.
We all use creative visualization anyway. It's not some new toy. It's just that
we use it unconsciously and often in a destructive or conflicting way. By
learning to use these techniques, you are simply manipulating your thinking
habits and re-programming your mind to consciously decide what thoughts
you choose to be controlled by, or rather, how you choose to control your life.
