Cause and effect are one of the successful models for achieving the goals.  This model states that you have to identify and create the causes that will produce the effects and goals you desire.

Almost everyone misunderstands this model because people don’t know what a “cause” really means. The first assumption is that the cause is a series of actions that lead to achieving the effect. For example, if your goal is to make pancakes, then the assumption will be that the preparation steps will be the cause.

However, this series of preparation steps are not the real cause. They can be even considered as effects. The real cause is actually the decision to make pancakes. The decision probably is subconscious, but still is a decision. Without making the decision, the pancakes would never manifest. The decision to make pancakes actually caused a whole action series and the manifestation is ready to eat pancakes.
